We have some aspiring female cricketers making their mark!
Over the last four weeks, St Martin’s girls in Years 3-6, keen on learning the ins and outs of cricket, have been introduced to the sport through an accelerated program. Pop-Up Cricket Blast has offered lunchtime sessions, introducing students to basic skill development through to short games of cricket.
Whether they have found their niche in batting, wicket-keeping, or fielding, our budding cricketers have gained a valuable experience while exploring different roles within the game.
Our Tinker Shed is on the move! Stage 4 of the Master Plan has commenced with the relocation of the shed to make way for construction of our amazing new learning facilities. Keep a watch on this space for more construction updates.

St Martin's was a sea of colour for the official launch of the 2025 Caritas Australia Project Compassion program during Lent. A special time of year, Lent is a time for prayer, fasting and almsgiving, a time to be the good news for the poor.
At St Martin's we are supporting the Caritas program through various fundraising activities, with our community goal to raise $1,000 to help provide a 10,000 Litre water tank for a school in Samoa.

Our first assembly for the school year was a wonderful occasion to celebrate the 2025 Student Leaders of St Martin's Catholic Primary School.
Congratulations to our newly appointed School Captains, Phoebe and Marilia, our Justice Group Leaders, and Semester 1 Creation Carers and Student Voice Representatives.
Our team of leaders have pledged to be the voice of students at St Martin's with a commitment to bring positive leadership and interactions through our School Values of Respect, Responsibility, Integrity and Kindness.
On Friday 31 January, St Martin's came together for the first Mass of the year in celebration of new beginnings and to commission all staff. It is always a wonderful occasion when we come together as a whole school and on this occasion to shine a light on the 2025 Jubilee Year: Pilgrims of Hope.
Our Year 6 students were also presented with their Graduation tops, formally recognising them as our student leaders and their final year of primary school. We look forward to watching them flourish and become role models for our younger students.
Thank you to Deacon Andrew Kirbride and Father Tony Simble for presiding over Mass, to the attending families, and to our hosting Year 5 students in 5A and 5DD for contributing to our celebration.
We have beautiful learning and play spaces at St Martin's! Our classrooms are welcoming environments for our students to learn, grow and flourish, with our outdoor areas to further capture their curious minds through play and exploration.
Over the summer break, new turf was laid on the oval and is looking ever so green! Our chickens were well looked after, and we are seeing many flowers bloom and vegetables ripped within our vegetable patches.
Welcome to the 2025 school year at St Martin's! We look forward to sharing many special moments with you.
The Class of 2024 were officially farewelled at the end of year mass and Year 6 Graduation ceremony. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together, among family and friends, acknowledging their final journey as student leaders of St Martin's Catholic Primary School.
With an abundance of memories, significant milestones, and enduring friendships, our amazing Year 6 students have marked the end of an unforgettable chapter with bright futures.
Congratulations Class of 2024... we wish you all the best as you embark on your Year 7 journey.
We have some tradies in the making at St Martin's! Our Reception students have been on the tools and hands-on learning in Our Shed, a purpose-built space focusing on wellbeing and provides an opportunity to take a break from regular classroom learning.
Under the guidance of Mr Kuerschner our Sustainability Officer, and with the assistance from Year 5 students, the Reception students have been building their own wooden car. Learning to use hand tools, including hammers and screwdrivers, the tinker sessions have made a significant impact on their self-esteem and confidence, developing a sense of agency - that "can-do" mindset.
A popular space for our student to try their hand at woodwork, Our Shed will be relocating to a new spot on our school grounds ahead of the new building works scheduled for next year.
We celebrated our amazing students at the 2024 St Martin's Awards Assembly held on Friday 6 December 2024. Students have participated in numerous extra-curricular activities throughout the year from Children's University, Numerical Acumen, ICAS, Jump Rope for Hear, and more.
Students have also represented St Martin's in various sports, as well as showing leadership through the many groups we offer, including Student Voice, Justice Group, or taking on the role of School Captain.
We are very proud of all our students, their eagerness to try new things, and flourish. Congratulations to all participating students, award recipients, and to the St Martin's staff for providing these opportunities for our students.
