At a recent School Board meeting, approval was granted for the purchase of new playground equipment for both Junior and Senior students.

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Welcome to the final term of 2021 and a particular welcome to Akein (1VI) and his family. With only nine weeks to go until the end of the academic year, this term will definitely fly by especially with all the activities, excursions and special events organised by staff.

Sport News

Well done to all involved in the running of last term’s very successful whole school Sports Day. Student participation was excellent and exciting to watch over the two days. Thank you to all students, teachers, Year 6 classes and Sports Captains for making this event a success!

AUSLAN Parent Workshops

Last term, AUSLAN Parent/Caregiver Workshops were scheduled to take place, however, COVID restrictions prevented them from going ahead.

We are hopeful that the sessions will now be held this term.

AUSLAN teacher, Mary Mellon, will be running the AUSLAN workshops for interested St Martin’s parents/caregivers.

Registrations will open soon via the 'School Interviews' website. Further details to follow.

Those interested can choose from one of the following workshop times:

Monday, October 25th, 7pm-8:30pm

Tuesday, October 26th, 9am-10:30am

Wednesday, October 27th, 7pm-8:30pm

Ecological Sustainability

At St Martin’s, we are aiming to reduce our landfill to become even more sustainable. We ask that you make a mindful effort to try not to use any packaging in your child’s lunch box and if you do, we will ask that they take home any food wrappers that they bring to school.
