Feast of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop Day

Saint Mary of the Cross was born on 15 January 1842, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and died on 8 August 1909, North Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.  She was canonized on 17 October 2010 and her feast day is on 8 August.  St Mary of the Cross MacKillop was a religious figure, educator, and social reformer who was the first Australian beatified by the Roman Catholic Church and the first Australian to be recognised as one of its saints.

NETBALL CARNIVAL (Years 3-6)

Last Tuesday, St Martin’s fielded three netball teams in the annual Catholic Schools Carnival. The teams were nominated on player registrations received last term. All players and teams performed admirably and enjoyed the day. Thank you to the parent volunteers that helped with umpiring and team management on the day. Without the help of volunteers, success of such events would not be possible.

Please remember to return your family's bright yellow Enrolment Census for 2021 form which was sent home earlier this week.

Forms are due back by Friday, 21 August 2020.

School Photos

A reminder that school photos are held on Tuesday 11th August.  Students are required to wear their full winter uniform.  Please note that Family Photos will be taken from 8.15am - 8.45am in the Community Centre.

Our next Open Morning will be held on Wednesday, 12 August 2020 at 9.15am.  If you have any friends or family who are considering enrolling their child/ren at St Martin's, please share this article with them.
